We are proud to win awards for our technical and creative work. Our dress style is casual and we love a good work/life balance, so our working hours are flexible. Most of us are based at our spacious office environment with stunning views over Dartmoor - just 25 minutes from the nearest beach.
Our clients range from the public sector (Police Forces, Government, NHS, Met Office) to private sector brands such as Brittany Ferries, Caledonian MacBrayne and Virgin Trains.
Our staff enjoy a range of benefits such as company pensions and bonuses, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, support for personal development and fully funded professional training.
See what some of the team say about working at GOSS:
"I really like the working environment at GOSS. Working on different clients' infrastructures is really interesting and a great learning experience. And of course, there are other things I really like, including cakes, staff days out etc."
Samey Waheed, Network Support Technician
“I've worked at GOSS for nearly ten years. I started in November 2005 as a Support Assistant and Basic Trainer. My job title is 'Product Trainer' : I train users of all skill levels in how to use GOSS products. Recently I've spent a lot of time improving our forms courses and have especially enjoyed using the forms visual editor to create dynamic forms and processes. My favourite thing about working at GOSS is when I'm not actually at the GOSS offices! I spend a lot of my time on the road, which means I get to see lots of new places, (and OK, a lot of motorways) and meet the people who will be actually be creating the content on your websites. It's really rewarding to me to help people learn something new, especially as it's really important that people keep their skills updated and stay up-to-date with new technologies.”
Aerynne Russell, Product Trainer
"It's the first workplace where I've really felt at home. It's an exciting time here, and I love having the opportunity to work on large-scale projects."
Ross Noble, Senior Developer
“I joined GOSS in January 2016 as a senior developer. The work has been varied and interesting, as well as being very challenging at times which I enjoy. Everybody has been really supportive and helpful as I begin to understand the existing systems and processes, and there are some great minds at work to talk through ideas with. There’s a lot of forward looking initiatives and plenty of scope for implementing new ideas and technologies into the new and existing products. The atmosphere is great too, everyone is really friendly and already in the first few months there have been several social events and of course the Annual GOSS Easter Egg Hunt. It’s definitely been a good move. “
