.NET / SQL (C# or VB) Developer - Exeter Bespoke software paying up to £35,000 plus benefits which includes training to gain Microsoft Certifications We need an enthusiastic .NET Developer to join our dynamic and expanding team. You will be working on bespoke software so will need to embrace our fast paced and varied environment. You will be customer facing and enjoy working on exciting projects and directly involved in delivering system and app developments to some of our high profile clients. As a .Net/SQL developer you will be working on a range of client projects, taking responsibility at all stages, from working with customers to design a solution through to hands on C# or VB .Net development and unit testing. Do you have: - Expert knowledge of .NET development within a commercial environment (in either C# or VB) - SQL Server experience - Solid experience of ASP.NET MVC - Knowledge of RDBMS - JavaScript experience Ideally (but not essentially) you will also have: - Azure - Xamarin - Salesforce - Power BI - Knowledge of SSRS and SSIS - Any of the following development skills would be advantageous: Android, iOS, HTML5, CRM Dynamics, Java, PHP, C++, Delphi, BizTalk or SharePoint - Experience with UI/UX development or design - MCSD and ITIL qualifications or be studying towards them Skills and personal development: - You will be an excellent trouble-shooter, debugger and critical thinker - Have great communication skills, be organised to demonstrate the ability to multi-task - Be great at building relationships and a good team player - Maintain up to date knowledge of software product design and development, including keeping up to date with new development languages and design methodologies - Take responsibility and show initiative in areas of own professional development and learning - Ultimately be prepared to act as a mentor Exceptional oral and written English are essential, as are Microsoft Office skills. Any candidate must be eligible to work in the UK.
