Mental Health Solicitor - Devon - (Commutable from: Exeter, Exmouth, Plymouth, Launceston, Okehampton & Torquay) 12 months PQE - An experienced Mental Health Solicitor is required to join a well established firm in Devon. THE ROLE: In this Mental Health Solicitor role you will cover a wide range of mental health cases both in the firm's offices and in the surrounding area. In this role the successful Mental Health Solicitor will advise and assist clients detained in hospital; Representing clients at Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital Managers' Hearings; Attending CPA meetings; Advising and assisting Nearest Relatives regarding their powers under the Mental Health Act. THE MENTAL HEALTH SOLICITOR: The appointed Mental Health Solicitor will be Mental Health Accredited and have at least 12 months PQE experience within this area of law. The appointed Mental Health Solicitor will have an exceptional knowledge of all aspects of the Mental Health Act 1983, and have a proven ability to work sympathetically with clients at what is often a difficult and confusing time.
