Business Development Manager
Cathedral Appointments are seeking a field-based Business Development Manager to operate within the Catering and Facilities Management sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and delivering new clients for the company within the specified region. Business Development Manager responsibilities include - Setting out strategies for business development with the company's Marketing Manager - Attending and presenting the company business at new business meetings in the South West and Western half of the UK - Responding to and handling incoming enquiries - Writing sales proposals - Working with the Marketing Manager to execute e-campaigns and social media activity - Proactively making outbound calls and lead generation activity to agreed target markets - Generating qualified sales appointments - Attending sales meetings and once per month meeting with the company's Business Directors Business Development Manager requirements include Applicants shall have experience within Business Development, ideally within Facilities Management. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate previous achievement of meeting sales targets Key-Skills: - Excellent ability to be involved at external and internal meetings, and to be able to confidently voice well-thought out opinions. - To be friendly, personable, and approachable - To demonstrate interest and commercial awareness with regards to the current business market - Ability to easily adapt to new environments and use one's own initiative This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to embark on a new and exciting field-based role.
