ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

Devon & Severn Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority

Salary £20,456 - £24,717 + 10% unsociable hours

37 hours per week

Based at the main Brixham office, the successful applicant will join a small, professional team of officers responsible for the management of marine fisheries resources and conservation within the Authority's district.

All Enforcement Officers are expected to crew the Authority's vessels and previous sea going experience is desirable.

You must be physically capable of carrying out boardings and inspections at sea and be willing to work unsocial hours as required.

The postholder will become a warranted officer and will be expected to enforce fisheries and marine environment legislation.

Previous experience in an enforcement role is desirable.
