Are you looking for an opportunity that can kick-start your career in Software Sales? Then you're in the right place!

We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Internal Sales Executive to join our team in Exeter. Ideally you should be a self-starter with at least 1 years inside sales experience, preferably in software sales, as well as knowledge and experience of using CRM systems like Salesforce. Working closely with our Business Development Managers, you will be a team player with a successful track record in lead generation and opportunity qualification. Full training will be given on our bespoke solutions.

Responsibilities will include:

- Identify and pre-qualify opportunities for MSM software solutions in existing and new accounts.
- Cold calling will form part of this job and will require analysis of your target market to identify the best prospects, as well as collaboration with Business Development and Customer Service Managers to identify targeted accounts.
- Follow-up calls to support marketing campaigns, including webinars, pre and post show support at tradeshows, and other demand generation initiatives.
- Developing and maintaining your own pipeline of activity
- Maintenance of customer records, leads and opportunities in the company's CRM system

Essential Expertise:

- - Ideally a computer-based degree or a degree where you have studied computing as a module but you will have a keen interest in the technology industry, including trends
- - Understanding the difference between product sales and bespoke software sales
- - Strong communication, written and interpersonal communication skills
- - A confident telephone manner
- - Strong work ethic
- - The ability to investigate and navigate through various levels of management and departments within an organisation
- - Desire to exceed targets


- - Ability to identify improvements to sales and client management processes and confidence to recommend and where appropriate see them through.
- - Ability to contribute new ideas to the sales and marketing function to improve lead generation and opportunity management.
