We are looking for a talented multiproduct Designer. Working within a busy design team you will be responsible for creating and developing a full range of garments to a specific brief and deadline for existing customers and new business.Designer - Key Responsibilities Produce design presentation boards, including trends, colours, illustrations and range plans with the use of illustrator and Photoshop software.Research and compile trend and shop reports seasonally to maintain market leadership and to translate into commercial wearable designs.Produce sample requests on the PDM system and develop concept garments with the garment technical team to meet critical path deadlines.Initiate via PDM handlooms, lap dips and appropriate fabric developments with the Sourcing Team.Source and develop specific design accessories, for example buttons, belts, linings, etc.General maintenance of the design department such as filing, fabric and garment requests.Maintenance of reference material and stationary replenishment.If required attend customer visits/site visits and focus groups to gain an understanding of working environments and what is required for the new range.
