C&I Engineer - Power Generation
Control & Instrumentation Technician - Power Generation £35,000 - £40,000 van, benefits SOUTH WEST We are currently seeking to recruit a Control & Instrumentation Technician / Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer / E&I Technician / EC&I Engineer, to work on a range of Renewable Energy / Power Generation / Biogas plants across the South West of the UK. Our client is a leading company within the Renewable Energy industry, with the opportunity for an experienced C&I Engineer to join their team. As a Control & Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for: - Planned and preventative maintenance across the sites - Providing specialist maintenance, repair & troubleshooting to support all C&I equipment - Ensuring that essential services such as software backups and PLC programs are kept up to date & available - Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation maintenance on heavy process plant / power generating equipment (PLCs, sensors, fault finding, etc.) - Ensuring that the plant runs at optimum capacity with minimal downtime - Other duties as required To be considered for this position, you should ideally be a Time-served Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) with a strong understanding of Controls & Instrumentation. PLC programming & fault finding knowledge is essential. You should also have relevant experience maintaining large/heavy process equipment, and be flexible working across multiple sites based in the South West of England. The package on offer for this position includes an attractive salary in the range of £35,000-£40,000, plus company van, benefits, etc. This is a field based position therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
