As a Payroll and Bookkeeping Assistant your day to day duties will be highly varied to support two busy aspects of the business.

What will I be responsible for?...

Your daily duties will include:
Payroll duties;

Supporting a variety of clients with the administration of their payroll service.
Maintain accurate client payroll records at all times It would be useful if you have experience of setting up and registering new clients for PAYE or auto enrolment.

Bookkeeping duties;

The provision of bookkeeping services using a variety of software
Preparation of VAT returns
Administer all aspects of transactional accounting processes on behalf of a variety of clients on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Reconciliations This is an integral position within the business as you will be supporting two extremely busy business areas. As well as possessing experience with the above duties you must also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as a good the ability to work as part of a team.
