Financial Director: Our client is a growth focused and multi £M healthcare organisation whose main customers are pharmaceutical companies, private hospital groups, and the commercial aspect of the NHS. On their behalf we now seek to recruit a new Financial Director to work in the South East Devon office. ( Between Plymouth and Exeter). Flexi time for home working will be available for the right candidate. However, there is responsibility for leading a team of between 5 and 8 within the department, so leadership skills, in situ, are required. The company is enjoying immense growth, and the sort of personality type we are looking for is a person who is ambitious, diplomatic and commercially sensitive. Priority will be given to candidates who have worked within a healthcare company previously. The position will be responsible for the development and maintenance of robust, accurate, measurable and auditable financial procedures, processes and systems, capable of supporting thriving and growth oriented operations. You will play a key role in working with managers to improve the methodology of calculating costs and increase the understanding of the drivers of cost. You will be responsible assisting the Managing Director in the preparation of the annual business plan and for the coordination of the financial aspects of this process. The post holder will need to ensure that the financial implications of changes to product lines and price are reflected within income projections and that service developments and cost pressures are fully costed. The post holder will lead the Budget Setting process for the Unit, developing an annual budget for consideration and approval by the Board and will be required to play a lead role in assisting in collating this information The post holder will be required to monitor the unit's financial performance including balance sheet and cash flow and provide information, reports and advice, as appropriate, to the Managing Director, Executive Team, Management Team and Board. The post holder will work with the Senior Management team to examine methods of delivering and improving on the financial target. The post holder will be responsible for the production of the financial information, financial modelling and accounting support to projects and business cases, liaising with specific operational managers and external stakeholders to ensure that all revenue consequences have been clearly identified and documented. The post holder will be required to contribute to the strategic planning process, providing financial forecasts as required by the strategic planning framework and long term financial model. The post holder will play a key role in assisting the Managing Director in developing and implementing the TP business strategy, objectives, targets and plans as set by the Board.
