Pricing Administrator Full Time - initially 12 months FTC

Salary up to GBP18,000 per annum dep on experience plus superb bonus and benefits package

Market leading construction materials manufacturers and distributors are seeking a confident, enthusiast Pricing Administrator to support their Customers and Sales teams in all price management support. Using the bespoke Customer database, the Pricing Administrator will support the external sales team in a variety of administrative tasks.

Duties include receiving pricing requests from Customers and progressing Price Support Agreements, Conditions and Price Support Claims. This role is busy and varied and requires a keen eye for detail as well as excellent IT skills, particularly with Excel spreadsheets to update material, product and price lists and produce detailed reports. You will need to have some experience of Pivot tables and other more advanced Excel functions and formulas.

Key responsibilities of the Pricing Administrator:

- Administration of Price Support Agreements, Conditions, Quotes and Price Support Claims using Excel spreadsheets 80% of the time
- Effective communication with both the Customer's and the Sales Team via telephone and email
- Investigation and resolution of customer enquiries relating to the pricing of products and services, in a way that reinforces the benefits of being a Customer of the Company
- Produce Price Support Reports for Customers on request, ensuring accurate and on time
- Adding New Customer details and checking the system within defined timescales
- Provide regular reports to Managers
- Creating Excel spreadsheets and manipulating data received directly from Customer's

Skills and experience required:

- Computer literate (MS Office - Outlook, Word & Advanced Excel)
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Superb written skills with email and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Multi-tasker, with a keen eye for detail
- Team player also capable of working on own initiative and taking ownership of own tasks
- Confidence dealing with customers over the telephone
- Experience within a similar pricing administration role within manufacturing desirable
- Ideally experience with SAP or ERP or MRP systems

Hours: Alternate weeks - 8.15 - 4.30pm & 8.45 - 5pm
