COSHH Advisor / H&S Implementer

They are leaders in their niche field, and have their head office operation in the beautiful South Somerset countryside. The company is very well established with very few competitors for their core products. We are seeking to appoint someone into a newly created role of COSHH Advisor, to assist them with their growing production operation. We require candidates who are collaborative, friendly, and can implement rules and regulations in a pragmatic and team led way. Main responsibilities include - Completion of COSHH Assessments for raw materials, and production mixes - implement changes required as a result. - Help the business identify PPE requirements to help maintain H&S standards - Writing and implementation of work instructions to make sure COSHH requirements are considered - Helping the business to implement their DSEAR Action plan - Helping with other health & safety duties as required. Essential candidate skills - Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across the business - Demonstrable knowledge of COSHH Assessment and implantation plans - The ability to manage large scale H&S projects Working Hours: 8.30 - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
