My Client a leadiing civil engineering contractor is looking for a someone with accounting and admin experience to join the office due to expansion. There looking for someone with a good all round knowledge of accounting who office support to the office. This job would be perfect for someone who is looking for 2/3 days week. The successful candidate will have responsibilities including : - Processing of purchase invoices and credit notes - Credit control - Query investigation and resolution - Customers and Suppliers - Assistance in the payroll preparation for weekly and monthly payrolls - Bank reconciliations - Quarterly VAT calculation and submission - Dealing with telephone enquiries - First point of contact over the telephone - Other ad-hoc tasks such as month end reporting and assisting within the back office administration office as and when required - Social Media Required skills: - Proven experience in an Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper capacity - With strong Excel / Word skills - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) - Able to adapt to the changing needs of our dynamic business - Good general IT literacy - Experience/knowledge of the construction industry would be advantegous For more information or to find out more about the role please contact Gavin Down RGB Recruitment on [Phone number removed]/[Email address removed]
