Market leading construction materials manufacturers and distributors are seeking a confident, enthusiast Sales Administrator to help enable efficient and effective generating and validating of sales leads for their biggest customer. Using the superb bespoke Customer database (CRM) system, the Sales Administrator will support the external sales teams in a variety of administrative tasks to include logging and progressing leads, tracking projects at each stage and provision of reports for the managers. In addition, your excellent IT skills, particularly with Excel spreadsheets, will be fully utilised in order to update material and price lists and produce detailed reports.

Key responsibilities of the Sales Administrator:

- To identify leads through applying agreed, pre-defined criteria key customer.
- Communicating with both the customer's branches and the External Sales Team
- Logging leads in CRM and providing reports as required to show the progress of these leads.
- Arrange / administer CPD (Continued Professional Development) presentations for the External Sales Team ensuring that each meeting is booked, documentation supplied and then followed up with certification and literature as required, whilst liaising with the External Specification/Sales teams.
- To be the focal point for all incoming leads, filtering, processing in our CRM system and then passing to the relevant Project Sales Coordinator
- Work with the external sales teams to obtain product lists and quantities required for projects, updating CRM and liaising with Supply Chain Planning to ensure awareness of requirements.
- Administering project lists, updating existing Leads/Projects on CRM or creating new Leads to be passed to the sales co-ordinators to qualify, validate and follow up.
- Provide regular reports to Managers
- Manage the new addresses required for 'Customer Order' deliveries, checking the system and creating a new Project address within defined timescales.
- Willingness to undertake internal project based tasks in collaboration with other departments, as required

Skills and experience required:

- Computer literate (MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel & Word)
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Multi-tasker, with a keen eye for detail
- Team player also capable of working on own initiative and taking ownership of role
- Experience in dealing with customers over the telephone
- Experience in dealing with and building relationships with external sales people
- Experience within a similar sales administration role would desired but not essential

Hours: 8.15 - 4.30pm or 8.45 - 5pm
