A vacancy has arisen in the Performance, Strategy and Resources Team of the Housing Service for a Policy, Projects and Performance Officer.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter who wants to address the housing problems facing the City and to make a real difference to people's lives. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with the necessary skills to build a career in housing.

The Performance, Strategy and Resources Team operates across the Housing Service to ensure it is delivering its key objectives, focusing on the right performance measures and achieving value for money.

Your role will be to assist in the development of key housing strategies, policies and procedures; to carry out housing-related projects and research; to prepare and analyse key performance indicators and to prepare publicity for the service. You will also be responsible for ensuring complaints are dealt with in a timely and effective manner, and will manage the Housing Complaints Co-ordinator.

You will have very strong IT skills including knowledge of data analysis software and will be able to communicate to a range of audiences as well as being able to organise and prioritise a heavy workload.
