Due to recent growth and success, an independent construction firm are seeking, an Accounts Assistant to join their small, highly effective team. Based in Bridgwater, this is an exciting opportunity to join this busy and friendly office team.

Having recently expanded into new offices, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for a range of accounting functions and will ideally have experience of working across company accounts or within an accounts team responsible for separate departmental accounts.

Reporting to the Director, the Accounts Assistant will have an enthusiastic, flexible approach to meet the changing demands of the role.

Key responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant include:

- Processing Purchase Orders
- Purchase ledger
- Bank reconciliation
- VAT returns
- Cost analysis
- Accrual payments
- Post nominal transactions
- Assisting with Management Accounts

Accounts Assistant skills required:-

- SAGE line 50
- Experience in a similar role
- Ability to work independently yet within a team
- High attention to detail and accuracy
