£25,376 to £29,899 + benefits

The role

This role is an exciting opportunity to join CITB to recruit apprentices and co-ordinate their placements within the construction industry, working with a Shared Apprenticeship Scheme (SAS).

The successful candidate will be based within the South West region and will work with employers both large and small to offer a variety of opportunities to apprentices across the course of their apprenticeship.

Working to the SAS Delivery Plan, tasks will include recruitment, organisation and monitoring of the Training and Development of apprentices into the SAS to maximize the number of successfully completed apprenticeship frameworks. Apprentices will be placed with a number of host employers across the term of their apprenticeship and will achieve a qualification to support them in their career pathways.

The requirements

You will co-ordinate day to day operations of the SAS and promote the SAS. You will also be the communication link for colleges and Apprenticeship Officers. This role will involve extensive travel, however the successful candidate will be recruited within reasonable distance to the core areas of both Plymouth and Bristol.

The successful candidate will possess good problem solving skills; operate to standard policies and procedures and have the ability to work proactively and to effectively plan their own workload.
