Systems Administrator - HR and Payroll systems Torquay £20,660 We are recruiting for a Systems Administrator to join one of Torbay's largest employers. Working with the HR team the successful candidate will be responsible for administering multiple hr and payroll systems on a day to day basis ensuring they are running at optimum efficiency, while also providing hands on support for the implementation of new software. On a day to day basis the job will involve - Ensuring all HR systems are functioning and operating correctly - Implementation and maintenance of new systems or upgrades - Be first point of contact for colleagues with system enquiries or problems - Investigation and implementation of potential system upgrades to meet internal and external customer needs - Performing live testing of new functionalities before systems go live - Creating and updating policy, procedure and usage guidelines - Support management in the planning and roll out of the above ensuring minimum disruption To be considered for the position, candidates will need to demonstrate their proven planning and organisational skills as the role will require somebody who can handle multiple projects at one. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will communicate with internal and external customers and management on a daily basis. In addition you will need a keen eye for detail, along with investigative and problem solving skills, to ensure all problems are identified and fixed with minimum down time. Finally a high level of IT skills and understanding, along with the ability to read and present data are essential. The position would suit somebody who has administered or implemented automated HR, Payroll or CRM systems in the past.
