Take your career to the next level with UKHO. The United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) is a world-leading agency that provides the most comprehensive range of marine geospatial information across the globe. This information is supplied to commercial shipping, defence navies and maritime organisations for the primary purpose of safe navigation and global trade efficiency. We also support other marine activities including economic development, environmental protection, resource exploration and utilisation, scientific research and security and defence. Right now, we're looking for an enthusiastic Developer in Test to provide senior level test automation expertise to our cross-functional development teams and help enable quick and reliable delivery. As well as designing and implementing test automation frameworks, we'll rely on you to develop automated tests that are integrated into CI/CD pipeline. You'll also get to review business/design documentation, create and performance test code and manage any defects you find. And, when it comes to planning, defining and executing testing of all project deliveries and triage issues found and reporting on progress, again, it's you we'll be counting on as a key member of a scrum team. To make the role yours, you'll need an impressive track record in, and a real enthusiasm for, strong code and proper principles (C# and/or Java, Selenium/Web driver, Spec flow, Manual/Automation Testing, Agile - BDD/TDD). You'll also need proven experience of leading QA processes and teams and writing and maintaining automated test scripts. Well-organised and comfortable collaborating, sharing information and building supportive, responsive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders alike, you communicate with clarity, conviction and enthusiasm. What's more you have a strong focus on continuous learning and building capability for all and are open to change, new ideas and working in smarter, more focused ways. In return, because we benefit from civil service status while also enjoying the challenges that come with working in the commercial sphere, we can offer a desirable package that reflects the diverse and multi-skilled staff that make up our numbers in our thriving Taunton office. If that sounds appealing, we could have a place for you in our thriving team. To find out more information and to apply, please click the APPLY button
