This is a varied exciting role working for an expanding global company, the Customer Service role will involve working as part of a team.

This role focuses on taking customer orders and managing customer inquiries, along with business development and adding value for customers. This is a flexible, challenging and potentially rewarding team role that can be adapted by an innovative employee to become his or her own.

The following key skills and tasks are involved in the successful implementation of this role:

*Assistance with development of promotional campaigns and ideas.
*Managing the customer database and identifying requested criteria.
*Coordination of printing resources.
*Assisting with mail merging and distribution of mailings.
*Correspondence with suppliers / advertisers as directed.
*Handling customer inquiries (usually involves one weekend per year).

Customer Focus and Order Processing

*Dealing with customers, taking orders and building strong client relationships.
*Assisting with queries and sourcing product information.
*Coordinating activity with other departments.
*Following up queries, tracking deliveries and identifying out of stock items.
*Promoting special offers via telesales activity.
*Tactfully and politely dealing with any complaints, disputes or sensitive issues.
*A working knowledge of SAP and an understanding of any new implementations as required.
*Liaising with third party couriers.
*Maintaining a functional error logging database and monitoring statistics.

Customer Care and Database Maintenance

*Handling customer correspondence.
*Monitoring of current procedures within the job remit and supplying feedback.
*Assisting with the analysis and development of systems to improve on customer focus.
*Developing value added services such as purchase history reports, questionnaires etc.
*Assisting with implementing and maintaining electronic price-lists.
*Maintaining an up to date customer database.

General Office Duties

*General administration, including generation of written correspondence.
*Liaising with internal departments, fulfillment teams and associated staff on a professional basis.
*Devising and developing procedures for the smooth running of the company.
*Assisting the team with administrative tasks as required including standing in for absent team.
*Helping to maintain a cheerful working environment.
