Interim Managing Director £Exciting day rate South West England 6 - 12 month contract Looking for a Interim Managing Director with an extensive background within Food Manufacture Strong, inspiring Leadership required for this multi-site, high profile business embarking on a transformation and change programme. Full P&L responsibi lity for a complex food manufacturing process. Our client is a leading organisation within the Food Manufacturing industry based in the south west district. They are now looking to recruit a Interim Managing Director to join their business.This is a great opportunity to join a new leadership team of a food business as a Site Managing Director. As Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing and the implementation of the site's strategic plan aligned with group's strategy and managing the performance of the site to achieve day to day performance to meet medium and long-term goals. Through the on-site management teams you will provide directional leadership and facilitate performance ensuring that all business priorities, food safety and company policies and procedures are managed appropriately. This is a fast-moving site therefore we are looking for an individual with short shelf life food manufacturing experience. As site leader you will have a track record for coaching and developing the site teams to improve management capability. The Successful Site Director will possess the following skill set and attributes Experience of working within a food environment Experience of leading and embedding cultural change and delivering structured continuous improvement activities. Proven track record of managing people & operational change Excellent verbal, written and presentational skills Management/Leadership Training About the Job: The role objective is to stabilise the market share in the UK and then grow Sales through business development via a sustainable, larger customer base. Driving Organisation restructure will be necessary to meet the strategic goals of the business. A key measurement of success will be that the successful individual will have: Delivered against the brief by putting the right people in the right places, delivered increased market share, higher margin commercial agreements and will be able to demonstrate that a committed customer base has been secured going forward. The long-term goal is to increase margins and maintaining customer relationships.
