Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator on a 6 month contract. They would like someone who has the experience and knowledge in the following: - Checking, monitoring and actioning daily reports from the SAP system. Being directly accountable for processing information onto the system and ensuring that the actions in relation to the administration of the HR Payroll function are promptly and accurately processed. This will include for example: processing new appointments, amendments and terminations for employees, ensuring all statutory obligations are met. - Identifying and investigating any anomalies/ imbalances and ensuring queries are promptly resolved, liaising with Clients and service users as required. - Providing the service in accordance with the relevant Client procedures and working practices for the efficient and effective running of all tasks associated with the administration of the HR Payroll function. - Ensuring that all transactions are processed / follow-up actions are carried out in accordance with the relevant timescales and to the required quality and standards of service. - Producing and collating weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports as required to assist in measuring performance. Providing information in a timely and accurate manner. - Responding on a daily basis to a wide range of routine written and verbal enquiries about employees' pay and terms and conditions of service from Client organisations and authorised organisations such as courts, solicitors and government departments, providing necessary advice and information. - Developing excellent links and good working relationships with Client service delivery departments, partner agencies and service users. - Undertaking project work, specific tasks as requested by the Team Leader. - Ensuring that Team and individual performance targets are met -contributing to the overall performance of the team as required to assist in the clearing of any blockages or back-logs. Job Purpose: The core purpose of this role is to provide an efficient, effective and high quality service to Southwest One's Clients. Ensuring a responsive and comprehensive service to Clients, providing daily in-put as required to support the delivery of the HR & Payroll Admin function. Working as part of a team to deliver an HR and Payroll Service to agreed service levels, meeting deadlines and providing sound standard advice and administrative support covering a wide range of personnel and payroll issues. Ensuring the correct application of all relevant terms and conditions. Ensuring that all work is delivered to a high quality within agreed timescales and parameters and in line with Client's and Southwest One's procedures. To be accountable for delivering all areas of the job role and to undertake any commensurate tasks that may be required from time to time - this may include for example supporting other teams as required within the Employee Service Centre.
