A well known public sector body that looks after the defence of the realm is looking for an aeronautical engineer to work at their site in the south-west. The site itself is dedicated to the development of helicopters and you will be surrounded by experts in this area who will be able to help you gain experience on these aircraft. You will be working on apache helicopters and as such on one of the most advanced helicopters in the air. Everything about it from its electronics to the airframe is the most advanced on the planet. Working on this airframe will give you a lot of knowledge about how it works and flies as well as looking great on any engineering CV. Job requirements: An experience of creating aircraft; components and support equipment; researching and developing design specifications. Experience of using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create designs and plans working with teams, suppliers, clients, and managers to agree on a budget SC cleared What I offer: Current and up-to-date knowledge of the UK Government industry.
