Join a lead ing provider of support We are recruiting a Team Lead er to support across the Enabling Service, supporting team s to promote individual’s independence and develop life skills. You will be resilient with a positive outlook and upbeat approach to supporting people who are on the Autistic Spectrum, with learning disabilities and mental health needs. You will be supporting with home skills, budgeting, emotional and motivational support and taking part in group activities. You will have dedicated office time of around 10 hours a week to undertake rota planning, team meetings, appraisals and supervisions. No personal care is required in this role. You will be a great planner, organiser and motivator to support individuals with access to employment, education and training opportunities. Your role will enable the individuals we support to gain, and develop, the life skills needed to experience positive activities and relationships. You will be a great role model and able to connect through great communication and shared interests. Applicants with experience of Youth Work and/or supporting young people with Mental Health needs would be an advantage. A clean, current driver's license and access to transport is desirable. This is a 24 hour 365 days per year service and you will need to be flexible to work as the service requires, including mornings, daytime, nights and weekends - in addition, you will be asked to support the on-call service for which you will receive an additional payment. Generally speaking, hours worked are during the day covering the services normal hours which are between 9am and 8pm. The number of working hours for this post is flexible between 30 and 40 per week. A driver with access to a vehicle would be preferred as you will need to work between different service locations throughout Plymouth.
