This private nursing home is looking for an outstanding Clinical Lead (General/ Mental Health) to lead clinical developments in the home and manage clinical projects. Main Duties and Responsibilities Reporting to the General Manager, you will be expected to monitor and influence the standard of clinical care delivered to our residents by the clinical team and provide support and development to all clinical staff. You will need to hold a current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Mental Health) and a teaching qualification. You will be expected to provide evidence of continued professional development alongside a current mentor/ supervision qualification. Ideally, you will have a nursing degree, or be willing to undertake education to degree level. You must have up to date knowledge of clinical practices and skills appropriate to the services within the home and a strong understanding of relevant regulatory care compliance. You must also have an awareness of the clinical policy framework, DoLS/ MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. You must have experience of older people's care in a care home setting and current nursing experience, including Gerontology. You will also have mentoring experience and supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. About The Group Our residents, patients and their families expect great services.
