Mego Employment are currently looking for an Engineering Recruitment Consultant to join their team, based in Totnes. This role has three distinct elements: 1.Account Manager for one of our major contracts in the supply of temporary staff to all departments. This would take up to 65% of your time and would be your primary focus. 2.New business and existing account development within your territory defined as the Devon and Cornwall. This would take circa 30% of your time and would be your secondary area of focus. 3.Supporting the Customer Service Fulfilment team in Totnes as business needs dictate. This only becomes a priority when there is an urgent need to cover for sickness or holiday absence within the Customer Service Fulfilment team. Duties and responsibilities As Client Engineering Account Manager oUnderstand their business and specifically their temporary staffing requirements in-side out. oDevelop close and effective relationships with hiring managers across the business. oResource, assess, select and assign temporary workers to meet their business requirements, our contractual obligations and KPIs as defined in the SLA. oManage assignments ongoing, meeting our temporary workers on-site at least once a week, trouble shooting, replacing temp staff off sick where appropriate, monitoring temp staff performance and managing absence, collating performance data and producing reports on Excel and Word. oIdentify opportunities to develop our business and increase trading levels in existing departments and in new areas of their business and secure opportunities to pitch and/or introduce new services. New business and existing account development within your territory defined as the EX post codes: oDevelop and agree your Sales & Marketing Plan with your line manager. oAchieve monthly sales targets as agreed in advance with your line manager. oConduct marketing and sales activities as detailed in your Sales Plan including attending networking events and developing other promotional activities and initiatives. oPrepare/create innovative and powerful marketing and sales materials including sales letters, promo items, pitches and presentations using a range of media. oGather recommendations, testimonials, referrals and introductions from existing clients and use them to win new business. Supporting the Customer Service Fulfilment team in Totnes as business needs dictate: oHelp cover the absence of key members of staff on holiday or off sick by supporting other team members with the delivery of services to other clients. Key aspects of the Person Specification A track record of success in a similar type of role, ideally within the recruitment industry, that can be evidenced by references and/or referral to information in the public domain. Ability to produce recommendations from previous clients and/or work colleagues and candidates. Excellent self-management, organisational and communication skills gained in a related business services environment. Sound analytical, operational planning, data collation and management and report generation skills and experience. Total integrity, a powerful can-do attitude and the diplomacy needed to work in close partnership with our client company and develop excellent relationships with management at all levels.
