Murray Volkswagen has an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join our team as a Volkswagen Aftersales Manager. We are looking for an experienced, committed, customer focused Manager with the drive and initiative to lead their team within our dynamic and fast paced Retailer. This role would be ideal for a successful Aftersales or Service Manager who is looking to develop their career within a rapidly growing business. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in relevant positions within the industry and have a proven track record of managing people. Reporting directly to the Brand Manager this is a senior role within our business, the aftersales department has over 25 employees and turns over in excess of £2 million a year, it’s a tough job but the rewards and superb working environment do compensate. The role • To manage all elements of the Aftersales operation including service, parts and warranty. • To operate within the brand and the businesses guidelines and processes. • Continually monitor customer satisfaction and develop processes to ensure a customer focussed ethos and an upper quartile performance. • Ensure all aftersales departments achieve their individual profit and turnover targets. • Take responsibility and ensure the business passes all brand audits including warranty. • Monitor and control service core process throughout the Aftersales team • Control Stocks and assets at a level commensurate with profit requirements • Contribute to the success of the business as a member of the Management Team • Develop, agree and implement plans to improve profitability Relevant Skills and Experience: • Proven track record as a successful Aftersales or Service Manager • Strong leadership and people management skills • Able to demonstrate a consistent CSI performance • Experience of managing the entire Aftersales function including Warranty and Parts • VAG experience is desirable Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, committed and focused individual who can be resilient and operates with integrity. The salary and benefits applicable for this role will be discussed fully at interview and dependant on experience, however are likely to be in the region of £60k OTE.
