Salary: GBP20,206 - GBP23,519

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

We are currently recruiting for a Workplace Co-Ordinator to join our Automotive team here at South Devon College. You will be required to support the curriculum Section Head in the co-ordination of delivery of relevant Work Based Learning including Traineeship/Apprenticeship and Work Experience programmes as part of core qualifications or as enrichment. You will be responsible for the recruitment of learners and employers and the support of both relating to Work Based and Work Experience programmes. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining outstanding working relationships with external and internal customers, particularly with respect to growth and marketing programmes.

The successful candidate will need to hold Level 3 or above qualification in the relevant vocational area and GCSE level qualifications (or equivalent) with a Grade C or above in English & Maths. You will also need to hold or be prepared to work towards IQA assessor or verifier awards. We are looking for someone who has experience in industry setting relevant to the curriculum area, and experience in a similar role i.e. arranging placements for trainees, working with apprentices or assessing learner outcomes.

Due to the remoteness of some of the locations and lack of public transport, you will need to hold a full current driving licence with access to a car or other appropriate form of transport in order to be successful in this post.
