Do you have experience of fast moving production in a Food Manufacturing environment? Have you worked with short shelf life products supplying to the major multiples? Would you like to be part of a team where succession planning is critical? If so, we'd love to hear from you as our client is recruiting 2 Shift Managers based on the Devon / Cornwall border. Shift patterns are Monday to Thursday 6am - 6pm and Monday to Thursday 6pm - 6am. Key Responsibilities for the role of Shift Manager: Line Management of the Team Leaders and Operators in your designated area. Responsible for ensuring all staff are meeting the correct food standards, processes and specifications. Ensuring all internal SLA's between departments are delivered and internal customer expectations are met. Responsible for ensuring all staff are working to the correct Health & Safety standards. Identify and contribute towards Continuous Improvement initiatives. Analyse reports and formulate plans to ensure the department delivers on budget and against KPI's. Key Attributes for the role of Shift Manager: Previous experience of food manufacturing is essential, preferably chilled. HNC or equivalent in manufacturing / operations is desirable. Ability to manage and lead a team, setting good examples whilst engaging people and rewards success by recognition, feedback and fun. Personally demonstrates and encourages inter-departmental working to achieve business objectives.
