Finance Manager Exeter Up to £60,000 Car Allowance & Benefits We are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to work as part of a finance team for the UK's largest integrated education improvement and support service provider based in Exeter. The organisation are a FTSE100 support services business and their Education division works with early years' settings, schools, academies, multi-academy trusts, teaching school alliances, UTCs, local authorities and government departments. The role of the Finance Manager is to lead all aspects of the day to day running of the finance department providing both operational and executive support to the business. Key responsibilities and duties include Supervise, support and develop the finance team of 4 Management Accountants To ensure the provision of monthly and annual accounts, budgets, rolling forecasts and strategic plans Liaise with and support Operational Management teams to provide a high level of financial expertise To use financial information to constructively challenge business activity in order to increase profits and improve efficiencies Forecast and manage weekly cash-flows Provide support in bidding activity, including co-ordinating and presenting bid financial information Support and manage internal and external audit requirements Responsible for tight balance sheet management and control What we are looking for Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with at least 5 years PQE Strong financial reporting and costs analysis Commercially astute People management experience Able to prepare and present difficult and complex financial/operational information in a simple and meaningful way Numerically literate and able to understand and manipulate financial models Excellent written and verbal communications skills High level of computer literacy including Advanced Excel skills Experience of Navision and/or SAP BPC would be an advantage What we can offer you The organisation offers the supportive environment you would expect from a FTSE100 employer including: enhanced employment terms and conditions, starting salary up to £60,000, car allowance, performance based bonus scheme, money purchase pension scheme with life assurance, share ownership scheme, flexible working hours and ongoing career development opportunities.
