At Gregory Distribution Ltd (GDL), as a result of continued growth, we have a vacancy for an Interim Business Analyst based at our Head Office in North Tawton. This is an exciting opportunity to make your own within the GDL business . This position will be initially on a 12 month contract basis with scope to be extended or become permanent. The position involves: · Challenging the status quo and existing practices, advocating new approaches and ways of working. · Driving and challenging the business to simplify and streamline processes – supporting teams with process re-design in line with an agreed methodology. · Gathering and documenting requirements using interviews, data-flow analysis, requirements workshops, work shadowing, surveys, site visits and other methodology which is relevant to the group of stakeholders. · Being a member of the project team for major organisational wide change/system projects as required. · Working with the business to develop business cases for system improvements, new modules, upgrades etc. · Identifying training needs, supporting the documentation of training material and delivery of user training. Essential Skills required: · Experience and knowledge in business analysis techniques and processes. · Advanced skills in the use of IT Software to include Microsoft Office and Visio. · Ability to create and maintain technical documentation including requirements documentation and process models. · Desire to be an ambassador for leading and promoting change. · Strong attention to detail. · Fluent and effective communicator at all levels. · Organised, methodical and detail-orientated self-starter. · Excellent customer facing skills. · Logical, thorough and positive can-do approach to work.
