We are looking for a talented Technical Area Planner to join our UK team based at our Yeovil site in the South West of England. Your main activities will include: A Technical Area Planner is sought to focus on UK Electrical and Avionic Technical Areas: • Support the Electrical & Avionics Technical Areas in the planning of tasks (schedule and cost), ensuring application of the planning methodology defined by Engineering Planning & Control Department (e.g. Process, Tools, Skill, Standard metrics, Quality, Interdependency). • Support Avionics Technical Area during monthly schedule progress update, forecast and baseline change control. • Participate to the Technical Area budgeting process, supporting department in the definition of their activities/costs • Prepare and analyse all the necessary data in order to support progress review : reporting, performance indicators trend, capacity and critical path analysis, variance analysis (cost and schedule, corrective action plan). ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • MS Project 2016 (client/server) planner expert/proficient (essential). • SAP Project Planning and Dassian interface tool experience (desirable). • Budget Change Request/project configuration control techniques (desirable). • Knowledge in the planning of technical programmes and deriving EVMS/KPI metrics (desirable). • Experience and knowledge of planning practices, budget distribution, cost collection systems in a technical environment. • Good relationship, communicating and negotiating capability, familiar with problem solving and team working.
