Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Salary: £19,510-£22,667

Closing Date: Tuesday 26th September 2017, 12 Noon

Location: Exeter

We are seeking to appoint an innovative and highly motivated HLTA to join a strong and enthusiastic team in our school and college where teachers and support staff are committed to delivering a lively and interesting curriculum to inspire all our learners.

The WESC Foundation is a leading national visual impairment centre for the education and care of children, young people and adults. We cater for all levels of sight loss and a wide range of complex needs. Our aim is to challenge and encourage each learner to be as active and independent as possible, whatever their ability We are rated good by Ofsted and constantly strive to make our learning experiences outstanding and adapt our learning and teaching resources to meet the needs of our pupils. We are passionate about making their experience at WESC happy and memorable thus developing a lifelong interest in learning and preparing them to achieve their goals and successfully transition into adulthood.
