Experis are recruiting on behalf of our Client - a leading Engineering Support Services organisation for an individual to join their team in Bristol to support on the co-ordination of all Bid/Business Winning activities.

The main responsibilities of the role are as follows -

  • Co-ordinate responses to department business opportunities, supporting Business Development and Customer Account Managers through business acquisition process
  • Production of Proposals including Expressions of Interest, Prequalification Questionnaires
  • PQQS, Invitations to Tender and Unsolicited Proposals
  • Support the development of bid capture plans
  • Coordination and support to deliver Colour (Proposal Review) Teams and Story Boarding Sessions
  • Business Winning Cycle Process Management
  • Tender Requirements Management including managing the day to day collation and acquisition of proposal documentation, schedule adherence and resource management
  • Administration support to business winning teams, including meeting diaries, minutes, register updates and administration, management of sub-contract requirements for business winning activities
  • Document Administration including Security Documentation (Secret and Restricted document management, visitor security access and ITAR documentation)

The successful candidate will display the following skills and experience -

  • Good general level of education, numerate and able to communicate well at all levels, both verbally and through formal written correspondence
  • Good organisational/administrative skills
  • Computer literate, with comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint is essential for this role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including copy editing, grammar, style, spelling and punctuation, and accurate proof reading skills
  • Flexible and open to changing priorities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and within compressed timeframes
  • Creative, with a proven ability to take an initiative from concept, through development and into implementation
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills within a dynamic team environment
  • Experience in the preparation of large proposals and ideally within the Defence, Heavy Engineering or Oil & Gas Sectors
  • Must be willing to travel within the UK and Internationally as required by the demands of the business winning activity - including occasional periods working away from base location
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
  • Must be able to gain and maintain UK SC level security clearance
